The Analytics Trainer and Documentation Specialist will be heavily customer facing and this role is designed as a hybrid in-office / remote position. The successful candidate must be able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization via written and direct communication.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, design and develop Instructor-led and Web-based training courses, including course materials, instructor guides, reference guides and related policies if new materials.

• Deliver Instructor-led training courses in person and virtually.

• Respond to training related inquiries generated by staff calls or emails.

• Develops supporting knowledge articles, job aids, and manuals.

• Develop documentation that guides Renown Health’s personnel in identifying, locating, and using the organization’s data or analytic products.

• Works with EDA product development teams to suggest improvements to Renown Health’s self-service reporting infrastructure (Epic EHR Cogito Reporting and Power BI Dashboards).

• Manage and update the Analytics Catalogue within the Epic EHR system.

• Reconcile key stakeholder feedback regarding analytic products and reports and summarize feedback to EDA division.

• Coordinate with the IT department regarding general Epic training and help determine the best engagement strategies to train Renown Health’s workforce.

• Create documentation that supports Renown Health’s data and analytic governance programs.

 

Incumbent Must Possess:

• A familiarity with the basics of healthcare organizations and the healthcare ecosystem.

• Excellent verbal and written communication. An applicant may be asked to provide examples of written work to demonstrate technical writing proficiency.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

• Ability to understand the motivations and incentives of healthcare stakeholders, such that the person can help the business to implement the insights learned in the data.

• Ability to examine and synthesize complex content.

• Strong technical writing skills to create training materials and presentations.

• Familiarity and knowledge of instructional tools and delivery methods.

• Ability to ‘meet the customer where they are,’ address concerns at a level in which they are comfortable.

• Experience delivering virtual training classes.
